| User submit of a medic in Afghanistan (20 Photos) Posted: 16 Oct 2011 08:11 PM PDT  I am the medic for Charlie 179th IN 1st PLT. Me and my fellow soldiers patrol RC East Afghanistan on a daily. During a patrol, this kid showed us he had a rifle like us. The other kids really liked gloves/balloons. The pictures I added of me being a medic. Three are us clowning around as I bandage a broke ankle and wait for a bird. One is a simple IV. The mountain pics are after we had to hiked from the valley you see in the background to to the point we were at, taking a break. And lastly, is our interpreter, who puts his life on the line just as much as we do, if not more, for next to nothing. These are great, thank you Raylen for sending these in.  |
